“Do you know what it’s like to look back and have no regrets?” asks Frances Avrett, one of Primerica’s most successful female entrepreneurs. This former greenhouse owner/operator was living an idyllic life with her husband, Lee and their five children when Lee was struck with a debilitating heart condition. Suddenly faced with astronomical medical bills and the position of becoming primary breadwinner, Frances turned to Primerica and gave it everything she had. The incredible financial success that followed allowed Frances to provide Lee with excellent medical care, helping to extend his life an additional 18 years.
The couple took full advantage of their time together, traveling across the globe to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and Mexico. “When he died, Lee’s last words were of how proud he was of me,” Frances recalls. “No matter how much I earn or how big my business gets, these words and the time I got to spend with Lee will always be among the things I treasure most.” Frances has since remarried and enjoys meeting up with high school friends in Italy or taking trips with her grandchildren. Three years ago, she took 25 members of her family to Hawaii for two weeks and picked up the tab for the entire excursion. Today, Frances continues to work her Primerica business, along with her sons. “Without Primerica, I wouldn’t have been able to do all the things I needed to do for my family.” |
